Our verdict
Neurons Lab is an AI engineering firm focused on financial services, with offices in London, England, and Singapore (Neurons Lab). Alex Honchar and Igor Sydorenko co-founded it in 2019, and it describes itself as a boutique of more than 50 AI engineers, architects and analysts across Europe (Neurons Lab).
Banks, insurers and wealth managers use Neurons Lab in two ways: to train leadership, technical and non-technical teams on AI tools they already have, and to build custom AI agents from discovery through production. It reports more than 100 AI implementations since 2019, including work for Fortune 500 firms.
Its narrow focus is the point. The firm builds compliance, governance and risk controls into system design from the start and reuses pre-built agent components from earlier financial services projects.
Best for
Banks, insurers and wealth managers that want AI agents built with financial-services governance in mind, or AI training for staff.
Not ideal for
Companies outside financial services.

What clients and leaders say
“Financial institutions are not constrained by awareness, but by execution within daily workflows, governance, and risk.”
Drawbacks
- Neurons Lab is small, with about 50 engineers and analysts, so very large programs may outgrow it.
- We found no named client testimonials or independent reviews on its public pages.
- It does not publish pricing.
