Kishore Khandavalli is the founder and chief executive of 7T, a software and AI implementation firm in the Dallas, Texas area that he established in 2012. He has started, scaled and acquired technology services companies for more than 25 years, and he also leads iTech US and RiseIT Solutions (7T).
Engineering Greenhouse Gases in Vermont
He trained as a chemical engineer and holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Before moving into information technology he worked as a research and development engineer at Enerfex, a technology think tank in Vermont, where he developed a patented technology to capture greenhouse gases and reuse them as industrial refrigerants.
Building Primesoft and iTech
He founded Primesoft in 1997 and served as its president. By 2000 the company had grown enough to merge with Goldstone Technologies; Khandavalli led the merger and then ran the combined organization until 2002, expanding it to more than 400 employees on three continents.
He founded iTech in 2003 and later 7T, which builds AI agents, machine learning systems and custom software for mid-market and enterprise companies. Read our review of 7T.
Recognition and Flying
He was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2022 and was a finalist for the Wells Fargo Asian Business Leader award in 2010. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and a private pilot.
